Digital Transformation In Education

October 26, 2022 Can Thi People’s Committee Issues Announcement Plan: 220/Kh-Ubnd Implementation Of The Project “Increase The Application Of Information Technology And Digital Transformation In Education And Teaching Period 2022 – 2025, Orientation To 2030” In Can Tho City

 

Implementing Decision No. 131/QD-TTg dated January 25, 2022 of the Prime Minister approving the Project  “Strengthening the application of information technology and digital transformation in education and training in the period of 2022 – 2025, orientation to 2030”, the City People’s Committee promulgates the implementation plan of the Project “Strengthening the application of information technology and digital transformation in education and training in the period of 2022 – 2025, with orientations up to 2030” in the area of ​​Can Tho city (hereinafter referred to as the Plan), with the following specific contents:

GENERAL OBJECTIVE

Concretize the goals and solutions of the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 131/QD-TTg dated January 25, 2022 approving the Project “Strengthening the application of information technology and digital transformation in education and training in the period of 2022 – 2025, with a vision to 2030” as a basis for agencies, units and educational institutions to deploy and enhance the application of information technology and digital transformation in the Education and Training sector into city.

Developing an ecosystem for digital transformation of teaching, learning, testing, assessment and scientific research activities

a) Innovating the teaching-learning model

– Implement and pilot the implementation of advanced teaching and learning models on digital platforms in the direction of combined teaching (smart classrooms, interactive study groups, self-study with virtual assistants) in accordance with the conditions, specific and actual needs of general education and continuing education in the locality;

– Encourage teachers to innovate and be creative in teaching methods.

b) Developing a shared digital data warehouse

– Follow the direction of the industry to create digital archives, open learning materials to share for the whole education industry, including electronic lectures, television lectures, multimedia digital learning materials, textbooks electronics, simulation software and other learning materials; develop an online question bank system for all subjects of general education and continuing education;

– Building and completing electronic libraries in general education institutions.

c) Developing and applying digital platforms for teaching and learning and piloting the digital higher education model.

Pilot implementation of digital higher education model; The digital library portal connects with digital data repositories and shares learning materials with public colleges and universities. Encourage the development of virtual laboratories, practice rooms and virtual internships to improve research and training capacity at colleges and universities, especially for non-public training institutions.
