Agree to add information “place of birth” to passports issued to Vietnamese citizens
After 21 working days, the National Assembly has completed the entire contents and program of the 4th session, the XV National Assembly.

In Resolution 76/2022/QH15 on the 4th Session, the XV term, the National Assembly agreed to add information “place of birth” to passports issued to Vietnamese citizens.
At the same time, the National Assembly assigned the Government to direct relevant ministries and branches to amend and supplement legal documents according to their competence for implementation; urgently study and submit to the National Assembly for consideration and decision the amendment of Clause 3, Article 6 of the Law on Exit and Entry of Vietnamese citizens to meet practical requirements.
In addition, from the date this Resolution is passed by the National Assembly (November 15, 2022), the statute of limitations for disciplinary action shall be applied:
– 05 years for violations of cadres, civil servants and public employees to the point of having to be disciplined in the form of reprimand;
– 10 years for violations to the point of disciplinary action in the form of warning or more.
Cases in which the statute of limitations for disciplinary action does not apply shall comply with the provisions of the Law on Cadres and Public Officials and the Law on Public Employees.
Assign the Government to guide regulations on statute of limitations for disciplinary handling to ensure synchronous and uniform implementation; urgently study and submit to the National Assembly for consideration and decision the amendment of the Law on Cadres and Civil servants and the Law on Public Employees, ensuring synchronization with the Party’s regulations.
